Finding Jack Riley

Bango Paterson’s iconic poem, The Man from Snowy River, honours the Bushmen of the Australian Alps.

Corryong is deeply contected to this poem, identiying Jack Riley as its inspiration.

Using primary resources, local knowledge and working closely with museum volunteers, the story of Jack Riley’s life was developed, with a new display and products to tell this unique Ausralian story.
